- Is it easy to park if we are traveling with our family car?Yes, Arinsal has public parking areas very close to the hostel and KY Mountain Hostel also has a private garage (for a fee). Furthermore, the location is unbeatable: you will be 15 minutes by car from the Pal sector and almost opposite the cable car to access the Arinsal sector, which will greatly facilitate your daily logistics without the need to constantly move your car.
- Why is KY Mountain Hostel a great alternative to a children's hotel in Andorra?Unlike traditional hotels, we offer private rooms with en-suite bathrooms for up to 6 people, perfect for large families, free access to a fully equipped shared kitchen to manage your meals at your own pace, and common leisure areas where children can play freely and socialize in a safe and dynamic environment.
- What children's activities can we do near the hostel?A lot! We are just a 2-minute walk from the Les Berques Area (Arinsal's children's activity park) and at the gateway to the Comapedrosa Natural Park, where you can follow the self-guided trail in search of the Tamarro Massa. In addition, the La Massana cable car (just over 5 minutes away by car) connects you directly to the Pal Arinsal Mountain Park in summer and the family ski slopes in winter.
- If we are traveling with babies, can we heat up baby food or store milk at the hostel?Of course. Our shared kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, ceramic hob, refrigerators, and kitchen utensils. You will be able to prepare, heat, and store food for your babies and young children at any time of the day or night with total flexibility.
- Is KY Hostel a suitable place for kids?Of course. Everyone is welcome at our hostel. You can book rooms for 4 or 6 people just for your family. You'll have access to the common areas and play area.
To ensure the safety of the little ones and the peace of mind of the other travelers, children under 18 years of age can only stay with their family group and in private rooms, as beds in shared dormitories are exclusively for adults.
If you'd like to enjoy a family meal, we recommend trying our specialties at our AKY restaurant, which also has an outdoor terrace. Our menu has been designed to satisfy the tastes of the whole family. - Are towels and sheets included? Towels, sheets and duvets are included in the price of the bed or room. Extra towels are available for a surcharge of 2€ per towel.
- Can I eat in my room?It is not permitted to eat in the rooms for reasons of hygiene and the common good. There is a shared kitchen for guests at your disposal where you can regenerate food, or prepare a coffee or a cup of tea.
- How does the hostel's guest kitchen work? You can use the hostel's guest kitchen throughout the day, between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. All that we ask you to do is to tidy up and clean everything you use so that the following guests will find everything equally clean and orderly.
- Is there a laundry service?There are clothes washers and dryers at the hostel. Ask about rates at the reception desk.
- Is there WiFi at the hostel?You can connect with our WiFi free of charge in all areas of the hostel. You'll find a QR at the reception desk to connect to it.
